ABOUT US
“Success belongs to everyone.
It's all about teamwork
the deserved."
Frank Piccard
The Workshop, spirit:
Architecture is an adventure of the senses.
She seeks, perpetually, to immerse herself in the context. It is the exclusivity of a unique place that functions as a whole.
It models itself, carries within it the scales of the urban down to the smallest constructive detail. It becomes a rooted construction with a story.
The book sets itself up as a possible response, a compromise of ideas, exchanges, sharing and mastered techniques.
The workshop is based on collaborative work. People are placed at the heart of the process. In a dynamic of continuous sharing and exchange, the workshop seeks to highlight the technical and creative skills of each as a design strategy.
It is around a shared vision of the city and the project that we work with the various actors (developers, design offices, landscapers and engineers) to develop operations geared towards uses and its users.
The Workshop, the project:
"The Devil is in details" Friedrich Nietzsche
The project is impregnated with several constraints: the program, the site, the time and the material. The resulting shape.
The program determines the use, the operation, its technicality.
The site connects the building to its context and history.
Time induces protection, durability and flexibility.
The material models the envelope, its sensitivity, its touch, its link with use.
This alchemy must be resolved by the architect, over the course of the project and the development of its history.
The proposed answers are considered around simple, rational, functional and technical principles. We seek to combine architecture, landscape and living things, synonymous with quality, well-being, balance and poetry.
The Workshop, the environment:
"The little we can do, the very little we can do, we must do." Théodore Monod
Environmental thinking is an integral part of our projects from the very first sketches by making our approach over time to make our projects pleasant, sustainable, responsible and economical to live in.
Using common sense above all, she reasons the project from the implantation of the buildings through the analysis of the site.
The functional organization of spaces and the general volumetry which draws the building resultent from an approach on the orientations of living spaces, reflections around natural light , the anticipation of the energy performance of the envelope, the choice of materials for their durability and their environmental footprint, reflection on the paths of uses and users and the integration of living things into architecture.
It is important to consider the impact we will have on biodiversity and the resources that could be used to ensure energy efficiency.
Bio-mimicry inspired by ecosystems, permaculture, rehabilitation of the old, recycling, reuse and new constructive reflections are part of our reflections.
The workshop works on various programs: urban planning, collective housing, residences, houses, offices, shops, residences, new and in rehabilitation.
We put ourselves at the service of the project through our creativity, our strength of proposal to respond in a relevant way to the challenges of the site, the program and its economy.
It is around these values that drive the Idiome Architecture team that we support you in your projects.
